Kurama, a Youko (Fox Spirit) in Makai, has a reputation that most of
the youkais fears. He's a thief, a very, very good thief. He is also very cruel, heartless, and cold, he can killed without hesitation and feeling guilty.
He always get what he wants, never had failed before. But there is this one time, this one time, he failed, and he got injured as he was on his "get-away." The injury was mortal, he use his last bit of energy to tear his soul from his body and flee to Ningenkai to recover. He reincarnated and born as a human boy, namely Minamino Shuuichi. During his time in Ningenkai, his human mother, Shiori, has taught him how to love, have honesty, to care for others, she teach him everything that wasn't before, and Kurama had loved her very much for what she'd done for him, that he's willing to give his life to save hers and her happiness
